Five lakes Farm is a complete care boarding facility situated on 25+ acres.

Along with the Farm’s new barn and heated tack room, the property is connected to hundreds of acres of New York State land with miles and miles of trails for riding.  There is a 60 foot round pen available for warming up, a wash area and a new outdoor arena is coming Spring 2009.

 

The Barn has 3 oversized box stalls and 10 oversized straight stalls.  The heated tack room is complete with refrigerator, microwave, VCR, DVD player, television, kitchen table, coffee pot and drinking water.  The tack room is also supplied with First Aid supplies for both horse(s) and boarder(s) in case of emergencies. 

 

Basic board starts at $180.00 per month (plus tax) for a box stall and $150.00 per month (plus tax) for a straight stall.

 

Five Lakes Farm is in preparation and training to receive its "Certificate" from the New York State Horse Health Assurance Program ("NYSHHAP"). 

 

"The NYSHHAP, a voluntary certification program introduced the Fall of 2002, is designed to promote and to teach a pro-active approach (or “an ounce of prevention” theory) to equine health, care, and welfare through the use of certain “best management practices” or standards."
